This lecture will introduce you to breeding to develop new table grape cultivars with seedlessness, berry size, color and post-harvest life through traditional and biotechnological approaches. Genetic diversity in Vitis vinifera, germplasm characterization, and variability in clones, a combination of genetic and genomic approaches for breeding new cultivars will be covered.
